O exercício a seguir é bem simples. Com qualquer sabão e uma faquinha você dá início ao aprendizado em escultura. É muito bom para ser feito com as crianças. Ao invés de faca, utilize um plástico duro. Veja a postagem anterior

The following exercise is pretty simple. With any soap and a knife you can begin the learning in sculpture. It's great to be done with the children. Instead of a knife, use a hard plastic. See the previous post A primeira idéia para fazer uma escultura (como tudo) é escolher o que se pretende fazer. Escolhi um peixe por ser fácil e simples em fazer o desenho. Comece contornando o sabonete num pedaço de papel.

The first idea to make a sculpture (as everything) is to choose what you want to do. I chose a fish because it is easy and simple to do the drawing. Start outlining the soap on a piece of paper. Desenhe um peixe dentro do contorno do sabonete.

Draw a fish within the contour of the soap. Recorte o peixe.

Trim the fish. A seguir coloque o molde do peixe em cima do sabonete e contorne com um lápis ou um palitinho.

Then place the mold of the fish on top of soap and outline with a pencil or a stick. Ficará assim.

Like this Comece desbastar o sabonete com cuidado para não ultrapassar o desenho do peixe.

Start chopping the soap being careful not to exceed the drawing of the fish. Continue desbastando o sabão até chegar as linhas do desenho do peixe nos dois lados do sabão. Se sentir muita dificuldade risque com o molde os dois lados do sabonete.

Continue chopping the soap until you get at the lines of the drawing of fish on both sides of the soap. If it is difficult you can draw the mold on both sides of the soap. Comece a arredondar o peixe, desbastando e alisando com a própria faca.

Start rounding the fish, chopping and smoothing with the same knife. Para os detalhes do peixe, risque com a ponta da faca e arredonde as linhas alisando o sabonete com a faca.

For the details of the fish, scratch with the tip of the knife and round the lines smoothing the soap with the knife. Obs: as fotos abaixo não são minhas nem os trabalhos feito por mim. São trabalhos que peguei na Net e não consegui descobrir quem os fez. Os recém nascidos são feitos com massa fria....mas podem ser feito com sabonete ou um tipo de cera para escultura. Se desejar fazer só um relevo: fazer o desenho, desbastar o sabonete e alisar com a faca.

If you want to make bas-relief: make the drawing, chop the soap and smooth with the knife. Se fizer com crianças deixe que elas escolham o desenho. .

If you do with children let them choose the drawing. Se desejar colocar mais detalhes no peixe….faça montagem com vários tipos de sabão.
